ADHD Testing
Psychological Examiner Daniel Wysocki provides an accurate assessment to diagnose ADHD in adults and children along with screening for co-occurring learning, behavior, and emotional disorders.
ADHD spans focus, effort, emotions, and self-regulation. Each child I have tested is very smart but struggling to show what they know. This can lead to frustration for both parents and teachers, as well as the children themselves. To begin addressing ADHD, the first step is to have the child undergo a professional evaluation by someone who is knowledgeable about the complexities of diagnosing ADHD.
Signs of ADHD in Children
- Poor school performance and academic attainment
- Social rejection
- Deterioration in self-esteem
- Often loses things
- Easily distracted
- Often feels restless
- Inattentive
- Always on the go
- Engages in risky physical behaviors
- Does not appear to listen
- Interrupts or intrudes
- Impatient or difficulty waiting
- Family relationships characterized by negative interactions
- Inadequate application to tasks that require sustained effort
- Being labeled lazy, or irresponsible
The feedback I often hear after an adult ADHD evaluation is either, “I had always suspected it, but never went for testing,” or “I never thought about ADHD, but the diagnosis explains a lot.” Getting diagnosed with ADHD can present opportunities for effective treatment and potentially result in receiving helpful accommodations in educational or work environments.

- Being called careless or lazy
